Professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) Program – Intensive Track

Program Mission:

The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program at UHA University, an American university accredited by the International Accreditation Organization (IAO) in the United States, seeks to prepare an outstanding elite of executive managers capable of dealing efficiently and effectively with complex practical realities through a sound scientific approach based on academic qualification. This is achieved through highly qualified academic staff holding the highest academic degrees at UHA University, within the College of Economics and Political Science.

The program focuses on integrating practical aspects with rigorous academic requirements, enabling learners to apply advanced research methodologies to real-world business problems and to provide original insights that contribute to the development of knowledge in this field.

Program Objective:

The program aims to refine, qualify, and prepare senior and executive-level managers by providing them with the necessary skills to effectively address problems, enhance their leadership capabilities in managing strategic and executive work teams within industrial, service, and governmental institutions, and deliver a selected elite of managers with the highest levels of professional and academic competencies—aligned with the aspirations of our university, students, and researchers enrolled in the program.

Students holding a professional or academic Master’s degree from Arab or foreign universities.
Executive managers at senior and middle levels in various institutions and organizations.
Individuals seeking excellence and advancement in their practical and academic capabilities, in accordance with the university’s announced requirements.

Program Content:

The program includes seven specialized courses in management and scientific research, totaling 60 academic credit hours, delivered across three consecutive academic semesters, culminating in the preparation of a specialized scientific dissertation.

The program consists of three academic semesters as follows: -

First Semester

Entrepreneurship and Project Management
Advanced Production and Operations Management
Advanced Financial and Investment Management
Scientific Research Methodologies

Second Semester

Strategic Management and Planning
International Business and Operations Management
Research Seminars and Discussions

Third Semester

Final Dissertation
(Registration – Preparation – Defense)

Admission Requirements:

A recognized Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferably in Business Administration or related).

Program Duration:

12–18 months, with a minimum of 12 academic months plus the dissertation defense (including a summer semester).

Program Fees:

Master’s Program Tuition Fee: $3000, divided into 3 installments throughout the study period until before the thesis defense
- The program consists of 3 semesters and a research thesis, with tuition of $750 per installment.
College Registration Fee and Issuance of Acceptance Letter: $75 (one-time payment upon registration)

Discounts:

A 15% discount is granted upon enrollment at the university when paying tuition fees in installments at the beginning of each semester.
A 25% discount is granted when paying the full tuition fees in one payment after receiving the admission letter from the university.
