Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law is a specialized academic unit dedicated to teaching and scientific research in the fields of public and private law, criminal law, international law, and human rights. It aims to prepare academic and professional cadres capable of advanced legal analysis, drafting studies and legislation, and contributing to the development of public policies in accordance with the principles of the rule of law and international standards.
The Faculty adopts an integrated approach that combines:

Academic Structure of the Faculty

First: Department of Undergraduate Law Programs
This department oversees the academic and administrative management of undergraduate programs. It aims to build a comprehensive legal knowledge base and develop students’ skills in research, analysis, advocacy, and legal drafting.

1. Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)
A program that provides foundational education in core branches of law, covering public law, private law, criminal law, procedural law, and arbitration.
2. Bachelor of Laws and Human Rights
An integrated program combining traditional legal studies with specialized focus on international law and human rights, including practical training through legal clinics and field placements.

Second: Department of Graduate Studies in Law

1. Master of Public Law
Focuses on constitutional, administrative, and public finance studies, as well as comparative analysis of legal systems.
2. Master of Private Law
Concerned with civil and commercial legislation, corporate law, and legal transactions.
3. Master of Criminal Law
Addresses criminal policy, criminal procedures, and contemporary criminal justice.
4. Master of International Law and Human Rights
A specialized program in international humanitarian law, international protection mechanisms, international criminal justice, and governance.

Legal Clinic for Community Service
Provides applied training for students through case studies and supervised legal consultations.
Judicial and Arbitration Training Unit
Organizes specialized training programs in litigation procedures, arbitration, and mediation.
Legal Consultancy Unit
Provides research and advisory services to institutions in the fields of public, private, and international law.
