Credit Hours System:
The credit hour system is a method for determining the academic workload required for a student to complete a specific academic program, whether at the bachelor's or master's level. In this system, credit hours are calculated based on the number of hours a student spends studying per week throughout an entire semester.
Academic Terms:
UHA University adopts the American credit hour system, where academic terms are not tied to the traditional academic calendar, providing greater flexibility for students. The university offers three to four academic terms per year. Each term consists of 15 American credit hours, allowing students to enroll in a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 18 credit hours. Each term includes 6 to 8 courses depending on the major or program, with each course consisting of 12 lectures. This system allows students to progress in their studies according to their needs and schedule.
